This week’s episode will be a special one as it’s our first in English. We had the honor of talking to Kocelia Bladehane, or Kocho, which he prefers to be called. Kocho is a musician, both by profession and at heart. His band Los Colores has to date mainly been touring Venezuela and South America, but just signed a deal with a european record label. The process of getting the band out of Venezuela, however, is a difficult one, something we will touch upon in this episode.

Kocho is currently based in Barcelona, but had at the age of 22 been living in 6 different countries. He speaks four languages and plays at least as many instruments. We spoke about what it’s like to grow up around the world, rootlessness, about being on stage in front of 25.000 people and the importance of not letting quitting be an option.

We were touched by Kocho’s stubbornness, his humble attitude and above all, his burning passion for music.
