Money. Debt. Financial Abuse. These are heavy topics, but they're ones we can't ignore, especially within the Latina community. For this reason, we've brought Dr. Ana Romero Morales, founder of Brewing Dinero, to shed light on the power of financial education and the alarming lack of it in high schools. We'll uncover the dangers of debt and how cultural influences shape our financial habits.
Have you ever questioned where your beliefs about money come from? Ana explores the critical role psychology plays in managing finances, and how these beliefs can sometimes cross the line into financial abuse. A rather sinister side of money we rarely talk about. She'll not only help us identify the warning signs of financial abuse in intimate relationships but also how to navigate it when the usual resources are limited.
Finally, we're going to talk about hope and empowerment. There's a light at the end of the tunnel for those who may be trapped in financial abuse. Ana shares valuable resources and organizations that can help Latina women regain control over their lives. Let's build a future where financial independence is a norm for all women. It's not an easy conversation, but it's a necessary one. So, don't miss it. Dive into this riveting discussion that will no doubt leave you pondering your relationship with money.
