According to 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Strongholds are arguments raised against the knowledge of God. Lofty opinions, thoughts (or ideas) that would lead someone away from obeying Christ1) Breaking down Walls after Divorce

Any contentiousness or marital strongholds of sinful behavior or attitudes to the contrary needs to be torn down. Bring under subjection.

  • Criticism
  • Defensiveness
  • Baggage
  • Stonewalling
  • Contempt

  • A few Causes
    • Dealing with strongholds after divorce can be challenging, as it involves overcoming deep-rooted thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior that may have developed during or after the marriage. Building Walls.

  • Signs or Symptoms
    • Recognize the stronghold:
      • Acknowledge the areas of your life where you feel trapped, held captive, or entangled. This could include bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, self-doubt, or negative self-image.
    • You Cut People or your Spouse Out As Soon As They Get Too Close
    • You Panic When You Become Vulnerable
