I often hear from mothers who come to me for coaching: ‘I don’t know who I am anymore.’ I totally get it because I have said and felt it too in the past! It’s no surprise we would feel this way when you consider the enormity of the transition we go through moving from woman, to woman AND mother. All mothers go through an identity shift - some with more ease and acceptance than others - and that’s okay.

In this episode I cover:

  1. Understanding and accepting the transition - an introduction to matrescence
  2. Building an image of the 'new' you
  3. Loving yourself no matter what!

Entering into motherhood, and adapting to it, really is a journey! We don’t go back to who we once were and while it may be terrifying to let our ‘old’ self go, it’s also incredibly liberating. You get to choose the new you! Through the process of motherhood you have evolved into a deeper, more brilliant version of yourself. It’s time to embrace it!
