Walking the Middle Path – Episode #57 of the “Alone in My Head Podcast”

Pete continues to talk about grieving his father and all the feelings he is experiencing over the past week. He realizes how much he misses the group therapy he was part of last year in New Jersey, and how much of an impact it has made on his life and he could really use that right now.

Walking the Middle Line was used in DBT frequently, and he explains how it works for individuals to ease their minds in different situations. He also shares the process of the STOP skill, which will keep us from acting in an unhealthy manner. Pete gives many examples how he has used these skills in crisis situations.
