For millions of women, dealing with the symptoms of menopause can be a daily struggle. From hot flashes, to weight gain to irritability, or any of the lesser known symptoms that plague midlife women, menopause is no walk in the park. Every woman's menopause journey will be different. And that means tackling every woman's symptoms will be different as well.

My guest on the show is Amrita Hundal, MD, and she may just change the way you think about managing your menopause symptoms. Dr. Hundal is an internal medicine physician who has done vaccine research at both Walter Reed Research Institute and the US Naval Research Base, helping create defense vaccines against bioterrorism agents. Along with her sister, she co-founded Femality Health, a digital clinic that takes a holistic approach to helping midlife woman transition through menopause. Femality Health makes menopause care more accessible, quicker, and to the point. They don't just address a woman's needs through this transition via medication, but by looking at the person as a whole, inclusive of diet, habits, activity, and past medical history.
