Welcome to our Mindful Leader Practices podcast where we will guide you through the RAINN technique. RAINN is an acronym for Recognize, Allow, Investigate, and Non-Identification, and Nurture, and is a powerful tool for cultivating mindfulness and emotional intelligence.

In this podcast, we will begin by setting the intention for the meditation and finding a comfortable position to sit in. We will then guide you through each step of the RAINN technique, starting with recognizing the thoughts, feelings, or sensations that are present in the moment.

Next, we will encourage you to allow these experiences to be present without trying to change or resist them. This step is essential in developing acceptance and self-compassion towards oneself.

After allowing, we will then guide you to investigate the experience further, with curiosity and non-judgment, to gain a deeper understanding of the root cause of these experiences.

We will help you to practice the two ns of RAINN non-identification and nurture. Non- identification involves recognizing that these experiences are not a permanent part of who you are but are temporary and changing. This can provide a sense of relief and freedom from the difficult thoughts or feelings.

And, finally, nurture is to nurture and nourish our inner life with self-care.

This podcast is suitable for beginners or those with experience in mindfulness meditation, and we encourage you to practice regularly to reap the benefits of the RAIN technique. So, find a quiet place, put on your headphones, and let's begin.
