Hi besties!
We can all agree, that ALL kids have emotional ups and downs, moments or periods of moodiness, trouble with friends, even dips in academic performance in school or daycare. With an added element of a pandemy reaching all corners of the world, you may have noticed your little ones tough emotions soaring to new heights.

As a parents we ALWAYS have a list of questions and worries. How do you know if your child is struggling with something more serious? And when should you seek professional help? Trying to understand if their tantrums are typical or unusual is also a difficult task. So, how do you know when your child’s behaviors warrant therapy and what type of therapy they need?

Don't worry. You don't need to go back to school and obtain a degree. Instead, the Momologists are bringing you the next best thing. We have Sarah from Behaviour Matters weighing in on when it might be time for your child to see a therapist.

Sarah is the Social Skills and Emotional Regulation Program Coordinator and Group Facilitator at Behaviour Matters. Sarah is experienced in child and youth program planning, delivery, and evaluation. She believes that you must start by building a relationship based on trust, support, positivity, and mutual respect to work successfully with children and youth.
