Patty Nece is a past Chairwoman of the Obesity Action Coalition, a current Member of the National Academies of Science Round Table on Obesity Solutions, and has testified many times before the US Food and Drug Administration advocating for improved access to prevention and treatment of obesity. Patty earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
