On today's episode we have Hayley Kava! Hayley Kava PT, MPT, never wanted to be a pelvic floor physical therapist. She had been an athlete her whole life and thought she would work with athletes integrating postural restoration teachings her entire career. She then gave birth for the first time and realized that labor, birth and post- partum recovery was the most physically, and emotionally demanding thing she had ever done, and pelvic floors needed a lot more attention and support than they were getting. Her mission become sharing more information and spreading empowerment about how to address these common, but often taboo, issues. She created her business, social platforms and podcast in order to serve this mission to spread this information, to help ensure that no person feels alone is dealing with any pelvic floor problem.
