Jurassic World is the tragic result of commercialization.
Today, I’m joined by my friend Giuseppe to discuss the abomination that is the Jurassic World trilogy. Giuseppe and I studied together at film school, and I knew he’d jump at the opportunity to bag out Jurassic Park.
Spielberg set the stage with such a strong start, and the great success of Jurassic Park lead to the utterly humiliating exploitation of the franchise.
In this episode, we share our feelings about the shortfalls of Jurassic World, particularly the latest addition, Dominion.
From the poor dialogue and scientific falsehoods to the absurd subplots, lack of through-vision, and ridiculous plot armor, this film has left us seething.
We look at what makes Jurassic Park work, where it started to go wrong, and why the Jurassic World trilogy simply misses the mark. Tune in to hear our thoughts on the matter, and to find out how we feel Jurassic World might be redeemed in a follow-up sequel!
