Spring is almost here, bringing relief after a long winter season. As the weather warms up, we'll be spending more time outdoors, but that also means dealing with the pesky hay fever season!

Hay fever is more than just sneezing and nasal congestion—it can be incredibly irritating and impact your child's mood and overall well-being. It can also worsen asthma and eczema in children, making it even more challenging to manage.

In this episode, I'll focus on three essential things you need to know if your child struggles with hay fever.

In this episode, I cover:

  • Why antihistamines might not be the best long-term solution
  • The importance of microbiome diversity.
  • The benefits of outdoor play and exposure to microbes for immune system development.
  • The specific probiotic strains that are effective for hay fever.
  • How gut health might predict the likelihood of developing allergies.
  • The critical role of vitamin D in immune strength and regulation.
  • My favorite herbs to alleviate hay fever symptoms.
