Certified Feldenkrais trainer, Larry Goldfarb, Ph.D., has twenty-five years experience practicing the method in a variety of settings, including schools, universities, physical therapy clinics, and hospitals. He has worked with people from all walks of life and successfully applied the method to needs of actors, athletes, dancers, musicians, martial artists, office workers, gardeners, bus drivers, physical and occupational therapists, and teachers of all kinds. Larry graduated from the Amherst Feldenkrais Training Program (1983), the last teacher training that Dr. Feldenkrais personally directed; he received his Feldenkrais trainer accreditation in 1994. Larry integrates his practical knowledge with his academic and scientific training: he has a degrees in psychobiology (USCC, 1984), cybernetic systems (SJSU, 1990) and kinesiology (UIUC, 1995). Larry has taught in dozens of teacher training programs in Australia, Europe and North America. He directed the three accredited Dutch trainings in Amsterdam as well as trainings in Adelaide (South Australia), New York City (New York), Santa Cruz (California), and Strasbourg (France). Not only has he taught numerous post-graduate programs for Feldenkrais practitioners the world over, but Larry also established and directed the first Mentor training.
