Dr. Noel Brick is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Ulster University and a researcher on attentional focus and self-regulation during endurance activity.

His Interests include the role of cognitive strategies and metacognitive processes in the regulation of endurance performance and physical activity. Noel is also a keen Marathon & Ultra Marathon Runner and his list of races include the Marathon des Sables and the Energia 24 hour race / Irish National Championships in Belfast.

In this episode of the podcast we discuss some of his areas of research and the practical applications that transcend sport and can be applied to other areas including business and life in general.

Noel explains some of the evidence based strategies that you can apply to your next event or project and finishes with some key takeaways that will leave with a new array of tools that may help you during those tough times.
