"How can I help the individuals going through a traumatic event like divorce,” is the question psychiatrist Amy Parry asks herself? Oftentimes teenagers get thrown to the side when parents are divorcing. Amy was drawn to teenagers who are struggling with the fallout of divorce on mental health. In her work she focuses on trying to understand what they are feeling and going through. “We can't make them behave, we need to work to understand them and help them understand themselves.” Listen in as we talk all about the challenges our teenagers, and ourselves, face when a family divorces.
