Have you ever stepped onto an escalator going up, and then suddenly realized that -- for whatever reason -- you need to go back down? I have three little kids and we’ve traveled a lot, so my answer to that is yes. Airports are FULL of escalators. And it’s kind of terrifying, because it’s actually really hard to go in the opposite direction of moving stairs. This is true both in real life, and metaphorically speaking. Which brings me to the topic of this episode...
