Pack your bags and gas up your car. Scott and Steve take you on a journey to explore the origin and history of the word "Motel."

On their way, the guys travel the byways and highways (and later Interstates) of the US, and also discuss how both Holiday Inn and South of The Border emerged from the motel movement, plus the effect from the birth of the Interstate Highway in 1956 on motels.

In the "Origin of Eatcies" segment, Scott discusses the true story behind "Corn Flakes," which involves Dr. John Kellog's quest to end America's epidemic of indigestion ... and baitin'.

Finally, the guys take a break from yelling at clouds to discuss their lawns and New Balance shoes. Be quiet, or I will pull this car over! Listen to this episode of Origin of Speakcies today.
