I was thrilled to invite Sue Dyson onto my podcast. We chatted about how Sue evented and show-jumped to a high level and why studying veterinary science and researching lameness mean so much to her. Here's a little more information about Sue: Sue Dyson specialised in lameness and poor performance throughout her long veterinary career. In addition, Sue is a rider and has produced horses to the top national level in both eventing and show jumping, which have subsequently competed at European and World Championships and Olympic Games. Sue is also a British Horse Society Instructor (Teaching and Stable Management) After working for 37 years at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, running a clinical referral service for lameness and poor performance, attracting clients from all over the United Kingdom, Ireland and continental Europe, Sue is now an independent consultant. Sue has published more than 450 papers in peer reviewed journals concerning lameness and diagnostic imaging and has lectured worldwide. She is passionate about the interrelationships between horses and riders and promoting better understanding of the interactions between training, riders, tack and horses and how horses adapt to musculoskeletal discomfort.
