To most in the Pilates industry, Kathi Ross-Nash is an indisputable expert of Romana's lineage. Although it is true that Romana Kryzanowska was Kathi's first Pilates teacher over 40 years ago and that she studied and worked with Romana for two decades, Kathi's influence in the Pilates world is much greater. Her dedication to the work is admirable. She is, just to name a few, the creator of the Red Thread Method and the Pilates app KRN Pilates in collaboration with Balanced Body, the author of the Red Thread book series and The Little White Mat book. A mentor to many, she embraced learning from several first generation teacher and more recently completed Lolita San Miguel PMMP program. The list of her accomplishments is extensive and not just in Pilates and her passion for the Pilates Method and a deep desire to keep the legacy alive is palpable.
Speaking with Kathi Ross Nash from the U.S. this interview was conducted by PAA committee member Eve Fairbairn.
The PAA strives to continue promoting the expansion of the Pilates Method as a professional and valued healthcare and fitness discipline. The goal of the PAA podcast is to explore the many facets and layers of the Pilates industry through conversations with the community.
