Professor Diana Sarfati (MBChB, MPH, PhD, FNZCPHM) is a public health physician, cancer epidemiologist and health services researcher. Serving as Tumuaki, Chief Executive and National Director of Cancer Control New Zealand, Diana discusses the goals of the Cancer Control Agency and their aims to both assist and challenge the cancer care sector to achieve fewer cancers, better survival and equity for all.
Professor Sarfati brings her wealth of knowledge to the conversation and provides us with an understanding of cancer and its many challenges, including an important discussion around the unequal burden of disease within our society.
