While self-isolating at home, Valerie, Tatiana, and Angela discuss all the productions that have been halted and releases that have been pushed back (1:00). Since the podcast, The Witcher stopped production and Kristofer Hivju tested positive, many Disney movies have been pushed back, and movie theaters have officially closed down.
We then go over some things of the things we've been doing at home, such as watching Locke and Key, Lucifer and Witcher on Netflix - and playing Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt (12:15). There is a book reading tangent that involves A Song of Ice and Fire, The Wheel of Time, and Anne Rice (18:00) before leading to the actual book recommendations of The Epic Crush of Genie Lo by F.C. Yee (20:30) and Kim Ji Young Born 1982 by Cho Nam Joo (30:30).
Asian Drama Corner this week is comprised of a Thai drama called Until We Meet Again, and the Korean dramas The Memorist, Hyena, and My Holo Love (38:00).
Then, a review of The Hunt (1:01:15), which you'll have to watch on demand if you want to see it and a reminder that Frozen 2 is on Disney+ three months early (1:09:00).
Finally, Valerie conducts an interview with the EP of Sacred Lies: The Singing Bones, Raelle Tucker, and director Scott Winant (1:14:00).
