Join us for this special BONUS edition of Practice Leadership where Heidi Jannenga, PT, DPT, ATC co-founder and Chief Clinical Officer of WebPt joins to discuss the recent WebPT state of the union report that has on emphasis on technology, new trends in the physical therapy industry & profession today.

Heidi expands on how the state of the rehab therapy survey was started; it began 6 years ago as a way to find more information about the entire physical therapy industry as a whole. As they looked at all the resources there was no information that truly represented the entire industry. They created this survey, and it had a great response and continues too. They get upwards of 7,000 – 8,000 respondents. The respondents are outside of just WebPT members, which are users of their software. Heidi says as WebPT’s memberships grow it does become harder to survey anyone who isn’t using one of their products, but that they do try to ensure it is a cross section of the PT industry to get a good pulse on what is going on in the industry.
