Show Summary: “Gratefulness should be a way of life because it can help you make better decisions.”

Show Highlights: There are tons of ways to cope with stress, and being grateful is one of them. Gratefulness triggers more joy and abundance in life. And different topics about it are almost everywhere. If you search online, you'll see many people practicing it in various ways, but the question is, does it naturally come to you? Is it part of your daily activities, or do you forget about it at times?

Understanding the real benefits and discovering creative ways to do it helps you build a habit of gratitude. And it is important to equip yourself with positivity because not every day is a happy day, and no one is an exemption. There will be times that you'll feel down or sad, but whatever it is, having the ability to adapt makes it more manageable and less stressful.

And in this episode, I share with you how gratitude can help you improve your decision-making skills and how it can reinforce optimism. I also discuss some of the simple and effective ways to implement it right away so you can get through stressful-life situations much smoother moving forward.

Say thanks to your family and friends by sharing this episode with them!

The more grateful you are, the more positive your physical being is.

Celz 3:23

  • There's a study by Emmons and McCullough; it's "Counting Blessings VS. Burdens." This study shows that gratefulness has great physical benefits.

How can you be more purposefully grateful?

Celz 6:19

  • One is having a gratitude journal. Writing things down in bullet points about something you're grateful for triggers that feeling of gratefulness. It helps build the momentum of thinking about other things you're thankful for, no matter how small they are.

  • Make a cookie jar; a gratitude folder. Take screenshots of nice things people said about you or something that you want to celebrate. Then put them in one folder that you see often. So if you're having a bad day or you're feeling down, look at it so it can help you ignite the feeling of gratitude.

What other things can gratefulness help you with?

Celz 9:24

  • It helps you see how far we've come. It reminds you how much you have grown in the past years. It also allows you to have that skill of reflecting and learning how to look back that will help you make better decisions moving forward.
