#047 Relationships require intentional and continuous effort from all parties involved to grow and develop over time. And this includes the relationship that we have with ourselves. So I have a question for you: When was the last time you took time out of your busy schedule to spend on yourself? This episode is a deep exploration of loving yourself, mindfulness, meditation, affirmations, and mindset. The goal of this episode is for you to have both an understanding of why these topics are important to your life and to be able to start implementing them to develop a more personal relationship with yourself and the direction of your life.
Now, these practices have helped me on my journey and you may find some benefit in them as well. what we'll do is I'm gonna share some personal stories around these topics. We'll break down the definitions of each of these points and learn ways to implement these practices in our lives. We will explain the differences between fixed and growth mindsets with Carol Dweck as a reference on this topic, and uncover practical steps to adopt a perspective that celebrates every challenge as an opportunity.
