Gordon is a leadership and development expert who spent many years building successful teams himself around the world. He’s worked with Barclaycard, London Electric, TUI, and DHL to name just a few.
He’s also written a book of which the title, ‘Leadership - It’s A Marathon Not A Sprint’ is very relevant to this podcast.
Gordon’s an ex-rugby player, but started running when he signed up to run a marathon to raise money for charity, after a number of friends were diagnosed with cancer. Now he’s got a bunch of marathons under his belt, and is training for the Valencia marathon later this year. He’s a believer that we can all be doing more than we think, because we’re not afraid of hard work. We’re afraid of failure.
