Confidence to speak up continues to be a hot topic, particularly if you are flitting between virtual and real world interactions in these hybrid times. So this week we dip into the bestseller 'How to Talk To Anyone' written by Leil Lowndes in 2013.
This book contains 92 tips and tricks for building rapport, making an impact and creating a natural easy interaction with someone new. We bring in a fresh 'virtual approach' particularly around body language considerations when dialling in on a 1-1 virtual call or a group video meeting. As well as a quick digest of the book, we share practical tools and strategies for applying these in our everyday working life and is a useful check-in for those who are building new relationships as part of their role. or coaching others to do the same.
This is the third in our Mindful Manager Book Club series - a skills refresher for busy people. Whether you are a formal manager or not, we all need to manage our interactions whether in our professional or personal lives.
