In the third in our Sustaining Your Sparkle series we focus on the soft aspects of performance excellence. Some roles are easy to link to hard measures like revenue, profit margins, customer feedback scores; making a performance conversation quite straightforward to know your worth and describe your value. But it can be a challenge to articulate what you’ve contributed if there are no direct measures. Lifting team morale, scheduling social events that encourage bonding, checking in on each other - these may be aspects that have no set KPI but are essential to creating a great culture where people want to join and stay. We share ideas for describing your value and demonstrating your worth. It’s about shining the light on the intangible aspects of work that enable the human element to come to life.
As we see more tasks being automated or carried out by AI-enabled software, it will be important to support ourselves and others to take pride and satisfaction in how they work, not just ticking the boxes.

Ep.54 Power Up Your Networks
