In a short amount of time, my guest and I cover a lot of ground on Day 14 of ADHD Awareness Month.
As an educator, she's concerned about what information is out there on the internet for kids to see when they log on.
Because there's so much misinformation easily available, it is worrisome that the stigma will continue to negatively impact children as they become aware of or are diagnosed with the condition.
She's also an adult with ADHD. Her point? She was a kid with it and she grew up, but was only recently diagnosed.
KANISHA'S AWESOME QUOTE:
"This is still rather new to me as far as really diving in and getting to know about this wonderful gift that makes me who I am."
