It might seem to be a fairly simple question to most people… what is bodyfat? Yet most people don’t really know what it is, or how body fat has been so important in human survival for thousands of years. Once you learn what body fat is, you might realise how fortunate we are to have it.

The problem isn’t body fat in itself, it’s how our modern lifestyle has allowed it to take over our lives, with great difficulty for many people to keep it under any level of control.

In this podcast I hope to dispel some of the myths of fat by explaining what exactly it is to the human body, how important it is, how our bodies manufacture it, and how we can control it by (a) preventing more bodyfat from being created and (b) allowing the body to use it as a fuel source, and in doing so, lose excess fat. This is not as difficult as it might sound, and once armed with better knowledge, you should be able to make far better decisions.
