Restita DeJesus began her martial arts training in 1978 and has been teaching martial arts to people of all ages since 1982, specializing in children’s classes. Restita holds Black Belt/Instructor certifications in Butokukan Karate, Wun Hop Kuen Do, Wushu, Kyudo, Eskrima, Yang Tai Chi, Chen Tai Chi, and Qigong. Her other studies have included Aikido and Iaido. She is the host of a weekly online radio podcast, “Dynamic Dojo Talkradio”, and founder of “Seattle Snapdragons Bullwhip & Traditional Target Sports”, a club of enthusiasts interested in bullwhip trick cracking, blowgun, slingshot, and knife throwing. Restita is a Hall of Fame member in the Masters Hall of Fame, World Cacoy Doce Pares Hall of Fame, Martial Arts History Museum Hall of Honors. She is a lifetime member of the Association of Women Martial Arts Instructors, and Executive Board member to the Pacific Association of Women Martial Artists
