Eventually couldn’t be paid and they just beat him. During one of the beatings a bright light appeared and the ropes he was tied with fell off. A voice said run and he ran through the jungle following this light he wandered for many days eating snails and whatever he could find. He arrived at a former slaves home who knew Jesus. And then was told about America where he could learn more about God. He found a ship and found a way to America. He eventually ended up in Ft. Wayne attending Taylor University. He was a young man of great faith. He would preach and pray. He fasted every Friday and was preparing to go back to Africa to preach the good news of Jesus. He caught pneumonia and while he had been healed before and had prayed for healing for others before and had seen it happen he told his classmates that the Lord had told him his work was over. The classmates were upset and said what about your work to preach in Africa. He said that was the Lords job and he would raise up others. At his funeral many of his fellow students dedicated themselves to missionary work in Africa. Isaiah 30:21 Your own ears will hear him. Galatians 5:25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the spirits leading in every part of our lives. God’s desire for everyone who calls this their church is that they be listening to and walking in the spirit. we are all following Jesus through the connection of the Holy Spriit. No one runs this church Some of you are going to dream dreams. Some of you are going to have visions. If you walk in the humility and holiness of Christ.
