Susan Shining-Star is currently serving as the CEO at Senior Bees, a 501 (C)(3) Non-profit that provides educational activities and workshops to assist others to "Age in Place, Gracefully." She is a trained Gerontologist and Ordained Indigenous Minister and Spiritual Director. Susan has spent more than 4 decades studying and working with a variety of teachers; academic, as well as Medicine Men and Women and other Spiritual teachers. She has earned an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree, a Master of Education degree in Adult Education/Holistic Health, a Master of Science degree in Human Services/Gerontology, and a Certificate of Thanatology. Learning how to return one's Spirit to a place of Spiritual Unity has been Susan's primary goal; as a result, the psycho-social and psycho-spiritual aspects of Personal Growth and Spiritual Development, in the field of aging, have been the main focus areas of her studies and teachings.
