November is men’s health awareness month. This topic is IMPORTANT to me. In today's episode we dive into why men in our lives, our workplaces, our communities are more susceptible to suicide, and what each of us should do about it. What we don’t speak about, doesn’t change. What we don’t prioritize, doesn’t change. But when most "solutions" amount to coping and managing with anxiety and deeply seated unhappiness, would you be inspired to take action? I’m here to beat this drum again: It’s POSSIBLE to heal these mental health challenges completely. Anyone saying otherwise just hasn’t helped someone to do it. When people ask me why I specialize in working with men, among other things, this is the reason. Men are underserved in mental health. I specialize to hold open a door that most people don’t see is there. I specialize because the world is better when our men are present, emotionally powerful and adept, and free from the burdens that aren’t necessary to bear and actually aren't helping anyone.
