In this episode, Chris is joined by pro hooper and physical therapist Sean Stoqua.

Sean is a physical therapist based out of the city of Ottawa. After completing graduate school at the University of Ottawa and a Kinesiology degree from Acadia University, Sean has been helping people of all ages resolve their pain, reclaim their athleticism and return to the activities they love.

From 2011-2015, Sean was a starting defensive back and point guard for the Acadia Axemen, helping lead both the basketball and football teams to multiple conference championships and national semi-final appearances.

During his 3rd year at Acadia University, Sean suffered what doctors called a career ending ankle injury during football practice, ultimately requiring 3 surgeries. Despite playing with 12 inches of metal and screws still in his leg, Sean bounced back for his senior year to have career best seasons in both sports.

A few years later during graduate school at the University of Ottawa, Sean tore the ACL in his other leg while playing basketball for Gee-Gees. Sean had his ACL repaired by Dr. Chris Raynor and completed his rehab at Human 2.0 & CSAD.

Returning to the court with both legs surgically repaired for the 2019-2020 season, Sean helped lead the Gee-Gees to a 3rd overall national ranking and trip to the National Final 8 tournament.

Since finishing school in 2019, Sean has worked with a wide range of athletes including professional basketball, football and soccer players.

He currently plays professional basketball overseas and provides virtual physiotherapy and training services to people in countries all over the world including Canada, France, England, Armenia, Spain & Germany.
