Meditating on God's word is a great way to deal with anxiety as a Christian woman. It is also important to know more about how anxiety develops in the body, because depending on the type of anxiety and the stage of the symptoms, there are additional strategies you can use.

Today I want to talk about the other side of treating anxiety. That is at the somatic or body level.

You will hear some of the common physical and psychological symptoms of anxiety and I will share the steps you need to take to identify how your body responds to your anxiety triggers.

I will also walk you through a body orienting exercise that you can practice to begin identifying your first signs of physical distress. Knowing what your body’s first signs are is key to managing and even preventing further anxiety symptoms from developing and leading to panic attacks.

Once you try the exercise, let me know what your experience was like.

Blessings and Love 
