Perimenopause, say what? The days of hosting the dinner parties are winding down and you are in Perimenopause. Perimenopause is roughly the last 10 years before you are in Menopause. Seems like you are headed to a good place with no more periods right? But then cue the slowing production of estrogen and your hormone equilibrium goes haywire.
Most of you may not have even heard of Perimenopause before because as it turns out 50% of all women don’t know they are in perimenopause. And sadly that is because only 4% of all the research and development dollars are spent on women’s hormonal health. I shared more shocking stats in this episode.
