Following up from last week’s episode, we took the last 7 days to actually try using Ancestry.com and see if it’s worth the bother at all.

Hopes are high going into something like this, thinking you might be related to a famous criminal or soldier. Maybe there’d even be some royalty sprinkled in there!

A 2-week free trial means you don’t have to spend a cent, thankfully. Their prices are steep and there’s a lot of other ways you could use $40 a month - especially if you’re left with a half-empty family tree on some website.

So let’s see. If you’ve ever been interested in learning more about your family tree - through genealogy in general or specifically with Ancestry.com - listen in to this episode and we’ll let you know if Ancestry is worth your cold, hard cash.

Liked this episode or have a suggestion for something we should bother doing? We’d love your review!
