Voguing源自美國哈林區非裔及拉丁裔同志社群，當時嘅舞者因為搵唔到自己嘅容身之處，所以建立咗呢個能夠互相包容同照顧嘅「家」。喺保護罩下，舞者可以毫無保留地展現自己從未敢公開嘅一面，接納真我。時至今日，雖然歧視同負面評價已經大幅減少，但呢個「家」依然不斷擴展中，本地Voguing老師 KenKen Elle，亦係其中一位壯大香港Voguers社群嘅功臣。自大學接觸咗呢個舞種，KenKen同Voguing之間就多咗個等號：「我未必可以將紐約嘅Ballroom文化原汁原味咁帶返嚟，但我希望嚟到香港Ballroom嘅大家，一樣能夠感受當中嘅能量同愛。」
