For our scintillating second episode, we journey to the universe of the misleadingly-named Human Domestication Guide and its stories about a species of plant aliens taming individual humans through drugs and cuddles. We discuss "nice" fiction, Posadist communism, the terror of having your needs met, the spatial isolation of the American individual, and the failed promises of the nuclear family.

This is a podcast about sex, so we discuss sexuality, kink, and politics as a matter of course. This episode specifically discusses ableism, capitalism, isolation from support, and ageism against children. There are brief mentions of suicide around 2:01:00 and 2:12:00, and a discussion of incest erotica from around 2:02:00 to 2:08:00 which is relevant to the main argument.
