Six years after a terrible virus carried by rainfall wiped out almost all intelligent humans, a cranky movie lover, Mack, emerges from the safety of a bunker to find all remnants of brilliant thought gone. This world, a part of the Netflix galaxy, known as "The Rain" is Danish by origin. Mack sets out on a danger-filled quest through abandoned Scandinavia, searching for any sign of intelligent young people. S et free from his past and societal rules, the TV maniac has the freedom to be whoever he wants to be. In his struggle for survival, he discovers that even in a post-apocalyptic world there are still idiots, fools, halfwits, dunces, dolts, ignoramuses, cretins, morons, imbeciles, simpletons, dopes, ninnies, nincompoops, chumps, dimwits, dummies, dum-dums, saps, blockheads, knuckleheads, fatheads, buttheads, numbskulls, doofuses, clods, dunderheads, lummoxes, knuckle-draggers, dipsticks, thickheads, meatheads, wooden-heads, airheads, pinheads, lamers, lamebrains, pea-brains, birdbrains, mouth-breathers, donkeys, nitwits, twits, boobs, twerps, hosers, schmucks, bozos, turkeys, chowderheads, dingbats, mooks and many of the problems he thought he’d left behind with the disappearance of the world he once knew.
