The Colossus and Kitty Pryde relationship has been off-again/on-again ever since Kitty first showed up at Xavier's School for the Gifted. Marvel has finally allowed them to tie the knot. In X-men Gold #20, Kitty proposes to Colossus. We haven't seen his answer in print yet, but it seems Marvel is planning for a big blockbuster wedding. Unless they throw some kind of demented twist at us, we will be seeing Colossus and Kitty at the altar later in 2018. Long time X-men writer, Chris Claremont, returns for an all-new story in X-Men Wedding Special #1. This will be a companion one-shot to the Kitty Pryde and Colossus wedding taking place in X-Men Gold #30. The side story will feature Kitty Pryde. It is being billed as “the wedding of the century.” Writers Kelly Thompson and Marc Guggenheim will also provide stories for the momentous occasion.
