Join us, That Wellbeing @ Work Show, as we discuss the explosion of the employee wellbeing industry which has taken place in the last three years. Employee wellbeing no longer means having a healthy option in the canteen, a subsidy at the local gym and a cycle to work tax-break. Mental health, work life balance, flexible working and the 4 day week have all shot up the agenda. But like any area that has grown so quickly, wellbeing often lacks science; is subject to faddery; taken over by jargon; isn’t measured properly; is over-complicated; and the employee ends up getting bombarded with a lot of stuff that they don’t want and isn’t used.
