She is the recipient of the 2022 National Humanism in Medicine Medal and many other awards. Dr. Simoyan is the editor of the “New Voices” section of the online magazine Pulse-Voices from the Heart of Medicine.

During this 30-minute interview, we discuss how music and creative writing can enhance the practice of medicine. Dr. Simoyan also shares her experiences with the piano and ukulele.
