"Hallfridur Thora Tryggvadottir, always called Halla, is a New York-based producer, artistic director, and arts marketer from Iceland. Halla holds an MFA in Theatre Management & Producing from Columbia University and is Associate Director of Marketing at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. During her time at Lincoln Center, Halla has marketed events by some of the world’s most celebrated artists and digital performances that have reached millions across the world. Halla produces theater, dance and film work for the production company Source Material and for the past two years, Halla has served as Artistic Director of the New York-based Scandinavian American Theater Company. Halla is deeply passionate about community building in the arts and was recently appointed Vice Chair of the Board of the newly founded Iceland's Center for the Performing Arts.
