This episode is the 3rd in our series on mitochondria, and they've all been leading up to this - - what can you do for your mitochondria?

The good news is there is a lot you can do to support the different mitochondrial and metabolic processes, so that's what this whole episode is about. I discuss a wide variety of important strategies, some well-known and some becoming more popular, and I go over the mitochondrial mechanisms behind them, including:

  • Exercise - nothing is better for your mitochondria!
  • Targeted Supplements (including my Top 10 List!)
  • Fasting - Intermittent and Extended
  • Ketogenic Diet - a "Mitochondrial Therapy"
  • Red/Infrared Photobiomodulation (Low-Level Light Therapy, LLLT)
  • Cold Thermogenesis
  • Grounding/Earthing
  • ...and why you need to avoid things like EMF radiation, excessive blue light, toxins like pesticides, mycotoxins, heavy metals, and a high sugar diet.

Many of these wellness strategies are well-known (like exercise or avoiding sugar) while others have become downright trendy in recent years (like fasting, keto diets, cold plunges, and red light therapy), but it's because people are experiencing great results by doing these things, there is excellent science coming out about the mechanisms, and because IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MITOCHONDRIA.
