Hey loves Welcome to season 3 episode 18 of The Chinanna Show podcast. In today's episode we discuss tips and tricks to balance your work and home life to prevent burn out It's important to have a work and home life balance to prevent burn out and stress that can lead to other mental health issues. Yes they are going to be times when one has to come before the other interms of priority at the moment but one shouldn't be sacrificed for the other. One of the major causes of burn out is the inability to balance work and home life and since COVID has started for the last two years Certain boundaries do get cross since work is now taken at home here are some ways that can be used to balance work and home life so it doesn't reach to the stage of burn out Episode Takeaways : If you have to work from home have a place in which you work specifically avoid working in certain places such as your bed room where you rest this will help you separate from work in your personal space. Take care of your health : it's important that you eat well workout atleast 3 times per week and get seven hours per night of sleep to decrease stress increase stamina do not shedule out your sleep hours convince that you can get more done this isn't a good idea Learn to say no and ask for help when needed if you are genuinely struggling in certain areas of work or life speak to someone about your issues perhaps your supervisor van help you on the work department by giving you a little leway at certain times of the day just to breath and get back to the job .
