Everything in our physical world is made of energy. We are a collection of molecules vibrating at a specific frequency. That vibration is energy.

Energy is all around us in a wide variety of forms. Being aware of our own energy and the energy in our environment can help us manage ourselves and our stress more effectively.

The purpose of this exercise is to raise your awareness of your personal energy field – that is the layer of energy surrounding your body.
Once we become aware of our own energy, we are able to consciously determine how we want to use our energy as we interact in the world. We also start to notice the energy of others and whether it affects us or not.
We are moving into quantum physics when we study and play with energy.
As with other sensory exercises, if at first you have a hard time 'feeling', do not be discouraged. Relax and breathe. Sometimes the harder we try, the more elusive something becomes. Try to retain a curious and playful frame of mind and just allow the experience to unfold organically.
I invite you to take a deep breath, keep your mind open to new experiences and give this a try. (No one is watching, so have some fun!)
