Well, we've hit a milestone by reaching a Stanley Kubrick film — one that is based on the book of the same name by Stephen King. Yes, we're talking about The Shining (1980) this week.

It's pretty obvious the kind of conversations we would have around the plot of this film — almost everyone knows what this movie is about. It's a haunted hotel, right? Or is it cabin fever? Maybe it's about something deeper — like Native American genocide, or the Holocaust. Uhh, it could also be about addiction and being seduced by the devil. Maybe it's just really a misunderstood story about family?

We're joined by friend of the show Albert Dubreuil, who has written two really fun blogs for our website. [The Mark Wahlberg Movies That Prepared Us for Super Bowl LII] [5 Reasons Why The Cutting Edge is still the Best Olympic Movie]

For Albert's thoughts on the Cars franchise and other films, check him out at twitter at @awdubreuil.
