More often than not, she and her sisters were left to fend for themselves which led to her starting her own business at 14 years old. At the same time, she was an A+ student who also worked for the federal government. She did exactly what she was told that would lead her to the "American Dream," went to college, earned 6 degrees, and got a "good job."
