Part 2 of Eoin's chat with Ronnie Van Der Linden (@ronnievdlinden).
Ronnie is from the Netherlands, and he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 6.
Ronnie admittedly didn't take care of his health or his Diabetes management for 17+ years growing up. It wasn’t until he was older that he decided to go for a check up with his doctor, and received some unpleasant news about the health of his kidneys.
In this episode Ronnie speaks about:
- Growing up with T1D.
- Kidney health and what to look out for.
- His experiences with disordered eating.
- Using “bad” news as a catalyst for change.
- And much more!
